On the home screen since upgrading from OS app 5.0.0.604 plat 6.2.0.36, my BB shows the network of the sim card even when I am roaming. This happens with every OS since the above version all the way through 5.0.0.972. Does anyone have any insight into this?
This directly affects if the device understands if it is roaming should I wish to disable data while roaming, etc.
Manage Connections - mobile network options - now disable data while roaming.
are you using a stock theme or a 3rd party?

This does not disable data as the device does not recognize that it is roaming.
I'm using the stock theme, have tested all RIM themes and issue persists. This has been going on since the OS it was upgraded from in the original post.
