Hi yall!

Ok so I have gone through all of the steps to put my music onto my memory card. When I am on the desktop mananger, I can see the music in the folder I assigned it to. But where is it on my phone? I went to the media folders on the phone and they are empty! HELP!

Do you have a memory card installed?

Otherwise you will be inserting this to the phones memory which is 64MB.

You don't want to do that.

I would pop in a card then connect the device.

Say YES TO turn on mass Storage.

Then just browse to My Computer and drag and drop as needed.

You could also use the "media Manager" software that comes with 4.2.2

Oh so I should say Yes to the mass media question? I have been saying no... Yeah the card is in the phone already. i used the media manager softwar and dragged and dropped. But when I go to the phone the folder is empty.

Turn mass storage on.

Use Windows explorer to test.

nope not working.... what kind of media card should I have?? I am using a San **** 128 mb mico sd card. Is this not the right card? When I turn mass storage on, it tells me my card is unavailable because it is on. Im so confused.

Do this. Insert card.

Hook up via usb.

Say yes to turn on mass storage


Browse to My Computer | Removable Storage (Your drive letter)

You will be presented with a directory called: blackberry

Broswe into it and I am sure you figure it out from there

And it starts up, it should initialize the card.

Was this a new card or did a previous owner use it?
