When setting up my Pearl 8120 for the first time I seem to remember it asking me what format I would like to receive my email in and I chose txt.

I now want to change the setting to HTML and have had no success.

Did I dream that this setting was there?

If I didn't... how the do I change the settings.

I think you were dreaming about that one. You will need to install a third party application such as BBSmart or Empower to view your email in HTML.
