Hello. I Recently obtained a Blackberry Edge and I want to put my SIM card from my Pearl 8130 into my Edge. Is this possible? And if it is, how? Thanks

I think it's called an Edge. On the home screen, it says Edge in the corner and someone I know told me it was a Blackberry Edge. It looks similar to a Curve, with the whole QWERTY keyboard. It says Movistar on the bottom so it is probably from Mexico im guessing.

EDGE is just the service you're in. Go to Options > About it should tell you which Blackberry model you have there. Unless I missed something if you have an 8130 your Pearl doesn't have a SIM card. 8130 is the CDMA version of the Pearl.

Crap, I was hoping that I had a SIM card. By the way, what's the highest amount of GB (Media Card) you can use on a Pearl? I read on Amazon on the reviews of a 8GB card by Kingston or SanDisk or something, and someone said that the most you can have is 2GB. I'm not exactly sure, I was hoping for a 8GB card. Thanks

You can still switch your number to the curve, but you have to go into Telus and have them switch it, and I think they charge a fee of like $15 or $20 for the swap.
