My son has a very beat up 8100 and I want to change everything(full makeover)Question is how hard is it and where can I purchase the case from.Thanx for your help

Not terribly hard to change the outer casing. Few screws and plastic to pop off thats about it. You can try cnn.cn or eBay is more likely cheaper.

Thanx for the reply but I'm talking about replacing the full housing.The front,back,middle ,lens and trackball and all that jazz

azeis gave you the answer, once you have all the screws (6) out then it is just a matter of changing any of the pieces that you want to change.
IF it would make you feel better I can write out a long complicated answer to your question ORR you can buy the parts you want replaced, send everything to me and I will do it for you (for a small fee of course)

its actually really easy, ive done it alot of times, all you need is a T6 screwdriver (and A LOT of patience)
