I have accidentally caps locked my Alltel 8130 Pearl several times and was just typing without going near my call button. However, I can never remember what I hit to duplicate it. Has anyone figured that out?
Edit: I wanted to add that I am using the new 4.5 OS.

Just Hold The Caps Button Then Press The Red End Call Button When It Goes To The Main Screen The Caps Lock Will Still Be Initiated Just Go Back To Your Text Screen And Type Away Press Caps Again To Go Back To Normal
I HAVE FOUND A MUCH EASIER WAY TO GET CAPS LOCK ON PEARL
When in any message area,
1. Type the first letter of the message that you are going to send.
2. While the letter is still selected, hold down the shift key(the pound sign)
3. Move the trackball to the LEFT, behind the letter, then right, in front of the letter.
4. Release the shift key, and type message
I couldn't figure it out either... the same thing kept happening to me. I finally figured out that you have to keep holding down the caps button when you let go of the green call button, and CONTINUE holding it as you hit the back button twice. Then it works!
Thank you for clarifying that you have to hold the caps key while pressing back....I was getting very frustrated b/c I kept trying and the stupid thing wasn't working! haha
