    Blackberries are hard to actually make dead .. There's bunch of fixes for bringing it back in the how to .. Ones called recovering a dead blackberry

    To answer question only the led will turn on

    Well his question was not really answered... a BlackBerry can't go dead. Not if you don't knowingly try to kill it. I've yet seen a BlackBerry that can't be fixed. One friend of mine had his 8800 on top of his car and he didn't remember to take it and when he started driving fast on a highway that's when he saw his BlackBerry literally fly and land on ground. The housing completely broke and the circuit board was slightly scratched, still it was showing the Home Screen and worked to some extent!
