I'm stuck and frustrated because not for the life of me can I figure out how to send a picture I have taken by text not facebook or email. I think I may be just tech inept but I can't find it.

It is the MMS option. You should see it along with the SMS and email options.

If your plan includes MMS capability, it will be an option on the menu in Messages: "Compose MMS." If it's not there, you can't. You're not technically inept; there's no way to attach a picture to an SMS.

Telus does not allow you to send mms messages or pictures through text messages but I have figured out how!

you need to compose an email and send it to [email protected]

Just enter the persons phone number instead of 123456789 and it will send it to the phone as a text message for anyone. you can also use this method to send mms text messages that do not contain a picture. At times I need to send longer text messages and i am unable to do so because telus only allows for 160 characters.
