I got a BB Pearl 8130 from a friend for free hardly used. I want to give it to my girlfriend. The friend cleared out most of her personal info. But I want to know, can I clear everything out and set it back to how it came out the box? Put everything back to the default settings?

Does anyone know how to do that?

im pretty sure there are a few threads on here, maybe even a sticky, not sure. just try searching for it i think theres a link or two around here somewhere that gives you a complete instruction list on how to reset your device

Goto options then security then general settings.

Once in general settings, hit the BB icon button, and select wipe handheld.

This will wipe it to factory defaults, and erase all data.

I found this when I did a quick search because I couldn't remember what the steps were to get to this. This should do the trick!
