for some very wierd reason all of my applications, text, contacts, calander, email have suddenly changed to ABC format instead of suretype. I have searched high and low, but clearly not high or low enough on how to change back to defaulting to suretype. HELP!!!! Texting is taking FOREVER!

Sorry - I should have search content and titles. My bad.

When you are in the application and want to reply / compose / add entry, etc. (ie you want to type)

Ensure that your curser is in the area you will type (usually, trackball - reply or trackball - new or trackball - edit)

Press the button to the left of the trackball (The Blackberry button)

Scroll down to "Enable Suretype"

Click trackball.

This does not work if you are not actually ready to type...
