yeah did you go delete the vendor file? once you've done that it may install over it but I would go ahead and wipe it then reinstall 4.5.

yeah you confused the he\\ out of it with another vendors ID in there. Every thing you need to know is in that guide, o.k. just follow it and you'll get 4.5 on there. After that your going to have to resend service book, possibly Re-register host and some other things so be reading up while it's installing, and don't panic! Good luck.

if you wiped it from the phone that did nothing. you need to wipe with jl_cmdr (LIKE THE GUIDE SAYS). but go ahead and install again without the vendor file.

But for real... if you follow the Proper Upgrade Procedure step by step... then you will be fine!! You can even use CrackMem to remove the vendor file and wipe the Berry... and optimize the memory
