    Hi, I have a Verizon 8130 Pearl that I got back in June. Its the V4.3.0.97 version and it had been dropping calls like crazy ever since I got it. I will have 3 or 4 service bars and it will still drop the calls. Also, I noticed that it will do it just to certain people I call.

    I was on the phone with my boyfriend and it dropped the call 6 times (no joke) in a matter of 10 minutes. I was running all over the condo trying to see if it would stop. But I had full coverage everywhere and it still did it.

    I called Verizon and they said that I shouldn't be having dropped calls because I'm in a "digital" full coverage area.

    Is this normal? What do I do to fix it?

    Another thing is, when I send an MMS message with a picture say around 8pm, the person I sent it to wont get it till about 4am the next morning... What is up with that!? I have already did the "update" by calling *228 and I will do the "reconcile now" to try to get the message marked as "delivered" but it still wont work..


    Any thoughts?

    Sounds like you have a defective phone. Some connection could b loose in the radio that keeps connecting and disconnecting. Take it in and get a new one.
