On my Pearl 8100, the mini usb port has lost the last, right-side gold pin, which is the pin that allows the recharging of the battery. Does anyone know where I can (1) find reliable service for replacing the port, OR (2) purchase a cradel so that I can recharge my phone, OR (3) purchase a used Pearl for less than $80 (the cost of replacing a port)? Thanks!

i had the same problem. i went out and bought a cradle on ebay for like 20 bucks.

but since your pins are broken, im afraid you will never be able to load new themes or upgrade your OS

How long have you had your Pearl? Mine did the same thing and T-Mo replaced it under warranty...
