    Help I need to be talked down from the ledge...

    I'm sure it's just coincidence that ten minutes after I updated my desktop software with version 5.0 my trackball no longer scrolls down properly. Scrolling in all other directions seems fine on my brand-spankin'-new trackball (it was recently replaced). However, scrolling down produces these results: cursor moving down, cursor moving up, cursor twitching up and down like it has a palsy, cursor staying in the same position as it laughs and points at me. (lil' b@sterd).

    Has anyone else seen/heard of this issue? Please lie to me and tell me I don't need to replace my 2 year old treasured angel... we've had a lot of good times together... there was that weekend trip we took together once... I can't afford it right now... financially, mentally, or emotionally.

    Help me Obi Wan. You're my only hope.
