    thing and I dont know how to fix it. I backed everything up earlier but its saying it will delete a lot of things. what all will it delete and will it just restore everything to default? please some one tell me what to do.

    it took a long time to come up after rebooting. Im a newbie so I thought I messed something up.

    You probably have not messed it up. Try this before we go any further.

    From the Desktop Application Screen pres the Menu (the one with the dots on it) key and select Show All. This will now show all your available icons. You should now be able to locate your Browser icon.

    You can hide any unwanted icons by hovering over them and pressing Menu and the selecting Hide. Use the Enter key (bottom right on keypad) to check the select box.

    If the browser is still not there then you need to call your carrier and have them do two things:
    - resend your Service Books
    - help you set up your BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) account.

    BIS is a monthly account that will enable emails and internet (browser) on your BlackBerry. This is also called a a data plan but BIS is a part of that.
