I need help with my blackberry, I have a pearl and i am a having two problems with it...

1. Yahoo Instant messenger, it doesn't let me log in with one account, it tells me communication error, try again or check your settings.

2.When i have it in quiet mode, it still makes a sound when i get messages.

Also does anyone know how to make the trackball light up when i get calls???

1. Do you have your TCP settings entered?

2. Edit your phone settings under the Quiet Profile, likely they got messed up...
