Sorry if this is a repost--

I can't get rid of the missed call indicator (I have no missed calls listed anywhere on the phone as far as I know)

I also can't get rid of the ABC indicator in the top right of the screen.

I HAVE tried battery pulls/soft resets already-----any help???????

For ABC press your shift button. Do you have a missed Text or PIN or BBM?

nope, shift button doesn't do the trick---it's always there...when shift button is pressed, it just toggles back to the up arrow, and then back to ABC--

no, definitely a missed call indicator, not a missed text or any other type of indicator.

Try holding the alt and shift.

Do a backup and restore and then a master reset. Then restore your device.

first go into your message center, then hold the (not shur what one it is) lower left corner next to the star key+the Period key that will show you all your calls including missed ones. just click on it to unhighlight it or menu then delete, and it will get rid of it from your message box.

See if this works... Try going into your messages folder, highlight todays date, hit the menu key and scroll to the top and select "mark prior as opened", hit "mark opened".

Ok this is what you do.
    1. go to your text messages
    2. click on a recieved message
    3. click to reply the message
    4. where you would type in the message click the ball
    5. scroll down to where it says "Enable SureType"
    6. click the ball
    7. it will now be gone and will exit that screen at the same time
    8. if for some reason you ever want to change it back, do the same thing except this time it will say "Enable Multitap"

I hope you appreciate this because it took everything for me to figure it out by presing buttons rather than throwing my phone across the room. Have a great day!
