Okay. Just got a pearl 8130. Love it. But i want to set up my email. I'm with verizon. But it just won't let me set up the email account. I did a yahoo as a test and it worked perfect. What is up with my web access account? It's run through my school website and I have to click a link web mail and that takes me to the sign in page of web access. This is on the computer now. Any suggestions?

Login to the VZN BIS site, select "Setup an Existing Account", put in your email address, and put in an incorrect password (2 letters is enough), then click Next.

After it tries can cannot connect, on the screen that opens up, select "I will provide the settings to add this email account" and click Next.

A Select Account Type screen will open, and select "This is my work email account" and click Next.

On the screen that opens up, select "I can access my email account using a Web browser (Outlook Web Access)" and click Next.

In the screen that opens, you will be able to enter the Web Access URL, email address, pass, etc.

Thanks! I did that process and the URL just doesn't seem to be acceptable. Which isnt making any sense cause it's whats up there in the http:// blah blah correct? Then it tells me to check my username and password which i know is correctly entered.

is my url suppose to start with exchange.domainname.com/exchange? cause what I am seeing is http://webmail.schoolname.edu/exchange

    Try https:// instead...

My exchange webmail address is https://mailservername.companyname.org/owa

Don't know if this info helps or not??

The url you are showing looks like to it should be ok.

Are you sure you are putting in the correct email account, because the email account field refers to your mailbox name. If you are not sure your mailbox name, log into the MS Outlook Web Access account and hover the cursor over the Inbox folder on the left top corner. On the task pane, you should see the mailbox name. Something like:

    https://<domain.name.com>/exchange/< mailboxname>/Inbox.....

Some schools have an email steup guide, so you might check their website or IT dept if that doesn't do it.
