My trackball has stopped acting as the "enter" key. I now have to press the arrow in the bottom right hand corner of my Pearl to enter! When I press the trackball now it takes me straight to "w" in my address book.
I have tried the battery pull many times to no avail!

Please crackberry gods help! Its driving me insane.

It's probably just dirt. There's a few threads around here describing how to clean it so a quick search should get you instructions.

If that does not cure it then you could have a faulty trackball - let's hope not. Cellular Accessories - Panasonic, Dopod/O2, Motorola, Accessories Store, Alcatel, Tools, Samsung, Black will sell you one cheap or there are always several on ebay.

The trackball does not always work as an enter key but I geuss that you know that.
