I am using Bell as my service provider and they have pricey data plans. The rep at the store told me to watch how much of the GPS I use since it will chew through the data really fast. I figure that the program uses tons of bandwidth since it is constantly downloading new pieces of map. Is there a program that lets you upload maps to your memory card and then use the built in GPS without using any bandwith. ie the same as any handheld GPS you'd buy? I figure that with the ability to store up to 8Gb on the phone I shouldn't have a problem putting the maps for a city onto the phone.
