I just find out that after I upgraded to latest version of OS (101) in "Settings -- Advanced settings", now I have GPS menu.

Is this new addon in software?

There is nothing in this menu, I guess it is something when I pair Pearl with some GPS reciver... Right?

I too, have this option on my 8703e, but I do have the option to turn it on. However, when I use services like Beyond 411, I dont' have the GPS feature under options which indicates that you have a GPS enabled phone. What is this feature for (other than 911 location)?

This sounds interesting. But I read somwhere that most CDMA phones have some GPS or A-GPS chip. GSM model mostly doesnt have GPS support and in Pearl specification you can't find GPS...
