Hi - I have a gmail acct set up through the gmail app bit the regular bb mail. It used to notify me if there was a new message. I upgraded the OS and now the notification is gone. I went to the GMail settings and clicked the notify me of new messages and it says to edit your bb profile to customize notification.

The thing is - when I go to profiles, it only shows the e-mail accounts that I set up for mail the regular way and not through the gmail app. Where is it? It's driving me nuts!

Try to register your device. Go to options/advanced options/host routing table. Hit the blackberry button and register.
