I have recently purchased a pearl 8100 locked to vodaphone.

I understand the coding to get it unlocked that is in process.

I understand that this question has been asked so many times now but i cant make sense of any of them. My question is "can i get rif of the vodaphone software and install my o2 software?"

I have mixed answers for this. Some say you cant some say you can.

Any help would be great.

I would like to get rid of that stupid logo at startup.

You will not be able to get rid of the splash screen with the vodafone logo unfortunately.

You can also install the OS from any carrier providing you remove the vendor.xml file first.
