Whenever I answer a call when my phone is in vibrate mode, it apparently makes a goofy noise on the other end of the phone. I've never heard it so I can't explain it - but if someone asks me again what it is I might punch them, because I get asked this 20 times a day.
When my hubby upgraded to the Storm, I switched my Pearl out for his (I go through trackballs QUICK and his was in better shape than mine) and I still have the issue.
Since I know its not phone specific, it might be user specific - ID10T error or something of the sort.
Ive had people ask me the same thing.. I don't know if there is anything you can do about it. When my phone is on vibrate and I get a call I just wait to answer until the phone is inbetween vibrations. That seems to take care of it.
