The flip screen on my 8220 is reversed upside down,
so the clock is faced the other direction and it has a reddish blackish scheme.
can anybody help me on how to fix it?

Sounds like that maybe a theme issue, if you go into options> theme and see which theme has "(active)"

My first BB did that from the very get go. Here on crackberry I was advised to exchange it since I was still within the 30-day period. I did so, got a new one and never had the problem with the 2nd phone.
