Just have a few questions if anyone can help...what exactly is the ecryption settigs in the media card menu, where you can select device or security password or both. Also, what else encryption in the security settings menu, and where you can set it to strong, stronger or stronger, and whethere or not to include address book, can anyone explain that? Thanks!

Encrypting your media card means someone else can't plug it into their device and read your contents.

I'm not sure about selecting your encryption type/strength. I'm sure someone will reply with that info.

Thanks, it says security password and device, should I encrypt both?

When I first got my BB I set it to device. Unfortunately, I had to wipe my BB and after that my media card wouldn't work because a new certificate was generated or something so I had to reformat the media card and transfer evetthing over again. I think password is secure enough for my needs.
