I don't think there are any Pearl 9105 (3G) left out there on the market anymore...

Yup, agree. Hopefully you'll get one, but be careful because second-hand device usually have one or two quirks.

It's a beauty alright, it's rare for a smartphone to be that physically slim nowadays. But I got to be honest, my Pearl 3G has gotten so slow it's beginning to feel frustating..

Yup, exactly. It's both great and sad that BlackBerry included everything of BBM's newest features, for legacy devices like my Pearl 3G it means sluggish performance on features that shouldn't meant for it.

You could downgrade the BBM to what it was.

Find the BBM that suits your OS.....and click on it. IMPORTANT....this will take you to a page wirh a large download button on it, McFly. DON'T click that. Instead go into the top right corner and look for a little yellow tab that says skip add. Click that and it takes you to the BBM download. The yellow tab shows up better if you are on wifi.

This us a good link that many of us have used....can be trusted .

Thanks, but I can still bear with the sluggishness since the Pearl 3G is not my main BBM.

What I meant is: it's great BlackBerry still makes the latest BBM version for legacy devices, but it's a shame they don't tweak it a bit so it'll run smoother on old BB OS 6.
