I was just wondering this because I just added Phone as Modem "PAM" and it says its connected at only 1xEVDO. These phones aren't set up to receive EVDO Rev A? If they aren't I just wasted 15 bucks. Please inform me if 1xEVDO is all they are capable of. Thanks to all of you that read this and post.

I think right now the Mogul is the onlyest Sprint phone with Rev A. At least it was that was a few months ago.

it has nothing to do with firmware, the BlackBerry devices simply do not have access to Rev A.

Note: the Samsung Z400, LG LX400, Sanyo PRO200 and Sanyo PRO700 models are Rev A capable only because that is how they transmit Direct Connect (push-to-talk or walkie-talkie). They won't work for DC in any market where Rev A hasn't been rolled out.
