    Its used to connect your device to a coporate BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES); mainly companies use them...

    You have to pay a higher premium to use it, unlike connecting to BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS)...

    Just to add one note, having a BlackBerry account on a BES requires a one-time license fee from BlackBerry.
