There's a thread on HOFO under manufacturer discussion "RIM" with a coupon code for $15 off. Normal price will be $30 as of 1/1/08.. So with coupon price is just $15.. As always there is a trial version. I downloaded it and like it very much.. Seems faster then BBsmart (which I also liked)..

Sorry if this has been posted already..

How though? I enter HOFO15 in the BB browser and select Update and it still says $29.99. I went as far as entering the cc# on the browser but it didn't update to $14.99.

I experienced the same issue. The update button will not update the price on the order screen.

I went ahead and purchased (thinking I was paying the full $29.99) and once I completed the purchase I received the confirmation email with the correct $14.99 price.

    YMMV

I apologize--I wasn't clear. I ordered on my laptop, entered the code (worked at checkout), downloaded the software on the BlackBerry, and then went to menu-->update registration.

I tried ordering on my BlackBerry and it said $5.10, then when I put in the discount code it went up to $29.99. Finally I abandoned that and ordered it on my laptop which all went smoothly, including an explanation of what a PIN is (I'm a new user. What do I know?)

when I clicked on the email sent to me from Empower, I was automatically given the $5 upgrade price as well. Mine seemed to be PIN and OS specific. The features are sweet, especially the option to create a task or appointment directly from an email. Nice!
