E-mail problem for ultimate novice.

I've just recently got my blackberry 8120, and have paired it with a googlemail.com email account, but I'm having problems getting it to send email messages.

I get an red cross next to the message and an error that says 'Message included an invalid address'.

I'm a complete novice with blackberry's, and most technology, so I was wondering if there was anyone who could help me fix this? I've made sure the email address is correctly typed, but I don't know what the problem is.

Go to Options > Advanced > Service Books. See if you see your email address listed there, should be llisted twice.

Yep, its on there twice, along with a load of other stuff.

Its not googlemail, its gmail. Is that what's holding you up?
