    It's too late to dry it out. Your best bet is to go to Home Depot or Lowes and buy some Denatured Alcohol and a toothbrush then scrub the light geen spots of corrosion off the board and surrounding circuits. Good luck!

    Next time just get insurance.

    My usual response: Phone in water = Time for a new phone!!! A long time ago I did field service in NYC, opened van door, ericson phone fell off of clip and into a small puddle of water, it died instantly, as luck would have it, the warranty replaced the phone. You can try this with your carrier but don't tell them that you fumbled it into the commode, they will laugh and then turn you away. Just say you don't know whats wrong with it. Good luck.

    By the way, Dessicant will absorb any moisture. ( the little packets that are packaged with new electronics )
