So I'm not that impressed with the pearl, had it for a year, totally doesn't handle what I need. I run google maps (took off bbmaps) wordcaster trial, Maclean's mobile, the docs 2 go that came with my 4.5os and Audible player. Still I have hourglass nightmares. I cleared off opera, and it seems that I have even less space!
All that said and done, I have been bugging telus weekly about switching me out to a curve. I can't get that without sacrificing my awesome 15$ unlimited email IM and web browsing. BUT they can hook me up with a BB8703, the woman said it was much like the curve. Now, can that older BB do what the pearl can for media? What with youtube and SD cards? Or will I regret the switch?

If media is important to you that would be a huge step backwards.
The 8703 has no camera, does not support memory cards and just
doing a cursory search I did not find an OS 4.5 upgrade for it, which
you will need for YouTube.
