display problems after update
- Blackberrys,
I have a blackberry pearl 8100 it recently got an update when I plugged it into my laptop. It works fine but it displays only six contacts and it was displaying about fifteen. I have tried different fonts and font sizes but it now has double spaces above and below each contact. I do not like this it also appears when sending and receiving text messages. It does not display as much. How do I fix this?
Phone shows: Smartphone (Edge) v4.5.0.110 Platform 2.7.0.9.0
Laptop software shows: BlackBerry Desktop Manager Ver. 4.7.0.32 Devise Comm. BB Device Manager 4.3.1.15

There's 3 links at the bottom of amazinglygraceless's post. I cannot recommend enough at least getting CrackMem and reading through memory optimization before you upgrade.
The lecture series will be a great resource for you, with answers to most of the common questions newcomers need to know. It is also found in the newbie section at the top. It's the orange question mark.

Welcome to CrackBerry!02-28-09 06:50 PMLike 0 - DM 4.5 or 4.6 will do fine. Your correct, don't bother downloading Media Manager, it sucks! If you enable mass media storage, all you have to do is drag and drop, or copy and paste. Your BB should appear as a flash drive, usually G. No software required.02-28-09 10:09 PMLike 0
