I am considering moving to the curve now that Verizon is offering it, but I'm not sure it's worth it for me. Obviously, I know that the keyboard is different, but I have gotten used to SureType so I don't think that's an issue. I am really wondering if the larger screen makes it easier to read messages and view web pages. Can anyone enlighten me on this topic? Thanks.

The pearl is a good phone. The only reason for my switch to 8320 was for the wifi. The bigger screen does make it easy to read messages and the web. The keyboard was never a factor. Recently TM announced a new wifi pearl will be available shortly but I'm going to stick to the curve.

I'm pretty sure that Verizon has disabled the wi-fi in the Curve.
the curve is school if you have the extra space in your pocket
verizon is also blocking their gps as well. If your happy with the pearl and its the 8130 then theres really no reason to switch to the curve because the only differences are the keyboard and the screen

No it is not possible to unlock GPS and WIFI from Verizon.
Yes, it is easier to read messages and browse the web on the bigger screen. It's your call whether you feel it's worth the money. I don't, but that's me.
