Hey guys wasup, I am a brand new BB owner of the 8130 Pearl, I actually

had the 8100 with TMobile thinking it was the newest Pearl, when I found out

that it was actually an older model and that the newer model (8130) is only

CDMA and carried by Sprint and Verizon, I dropped them with the quickness,

well for the time being I went back to Verizon, whome I've been with for 5

years, and would've still stayed today if I did not have to also add on the

data package in order to get the Pearl, I switched over to sprint because I

didn't have to get to pay an xtra $30 a month for a feature I'll probably

rarely use, so far sprint is not bad at all, and their txt msg plans are more

generous than that of verizons, but verizon is verizon as far as service goes,

my question is, is there ANYWAY POSSIBLE to get the Pearl from verizon

WITHOUT A data package? Verizon has told me no, samething from Sprint

but I found my way around that, but not with verizon, sprint is all good and

I'd stay, but that MMS feature which it lacks is a real killer, also the one

place it HASN'T worked is my GF's place, it comes up as roaming, doesn't

that suck!?

Why would you want to leave TMO? they have the cheapest data plan! also....why wouldn't you want a data package?!

Yeah, without a data package the pearl would be useless in my opinion. And sprints isn't priced bad, unlimited text, data for 30, I save monthly from what I spent before I got this phone.
