I need help, my BlackBerry Pearl 8120 is not connecting to my Windows Vista Laptop... does anybody know the problem?

do you have DM installed? are any connections blocked on your computer?

I don't have it downloaded but the only thing it detects is my iPod Touch and camera... it won;t fine my G1 either.

Download Desktop Manager, it has the drivers for the ports within it. Use 4.5 or 4.6, and I personally wouldn't use the download with Media Manager, it's easier to just drag and drop files.

Ehh... I tried that. My BlackBerry is still running 4.3 or something like that so I want to update the software to get themes and BlackBerry App World.

I don't see what that has to do with Desktop Manager, other than giving you the ability to then upgrade your BlackBerry's OS. You need the DM first.
