I loved on my 8130 the compose button to write texts or emails, I don't remember how to bring that up.

Can someone walk me through setting it up on my new 8230?

I have a different model, so don't know if this applies to yours.

I think that icon is specific to some themes, so try changing your theme.

Thanks, I found in my zen theme in the applications folder.

Oy, the learning curve on a new BB can by frustrating.

Hello,

I don't think you need a specific theme to get to it, go into the applications folder, click the menu button, select show alll and you will see it hidden, then you can go back into menu and click hide.
