Uhm, I was wondering if you know how to turn the trackball lights on all the time. My sister has a BB 8100 and her trackball lights are on everytime you use the phone. Please help!!

I got my trackball to light up different colors

1. Go to your call log
2. Hit the menu key and select options
3. Go to General options
4. Set the ringtone lighting to trackball

I'm confused. Why would you pay for a program to change the color of the trackball. I thought it was already built in. Mine changes colors. All I had to do was go into the settings and set it.

looking for registration code for Colour Your Trackball. all track balls light up multi color when called, some out of the box but some have to be changed through settings. the only catch is the white LED in the headset washes out the color and it stays white when not called. the purpose of Colour Your Trackball is to personalize while idle and take white LED out of sequence all together. I think it is a very good program to have 4.95 or free. somthing different somthing new and somthinh that not everyone has or knows about. sometimes you just gotta be different.

I've had Colour your Trackball for many months now and for $4.95 its a wonderful little program. I've really enjoyed it - Blackberries aren't just for work anymore!

2 XcolorEvent set different events on your phone to different pearl colors.. I do not use this option often (I really don't know why, IT'S NEAT) You can set different events and phone numbers to be different colors.. I like to set people I like to talk to or on my Tmobile Favs to green and people I do not like to talk to to red. People like my family to pink ect..

The 8800 does not have the coloured LEDs needed for this application to work
you need 4 LEDs under the trackball. (RED / GREEN / BLUE & WHITE)

The 8800 / 8300 / 8120 / 8130 do not have these, they only have white

how do you get the xcolor app to work? i downloaded it to my computer and cant do anything else with it

I bought the "Pimp My Pearl" trackball color thing, and not even 24 hours later I took it off my phone. It is cool, yes, very nice colors, very nice settings, but is drains the battery! Unless you have your phone charging at all times, it isn't worth it.

I have downloaded different applications on my bb bold which I thought was going to change my trackball colour but just changed the led light!

Applications will not change your Bold's trackball color. As far as I am aware, there are some that can change the color of the trackball LED on a Pearl, but as for the Bold, no.

Correct. Only the Pearl (and I beleive only the 8210) has the multi color light behind the track ball. Unfortunate but true.

It is the 8100 which has the multicolor trackball.
