I just purchased the Blackberry Pearl 8110 today and cannot seem to get internet access. The message I am getting is "You are not currently in an area that can handle data communication .... " I have a wireless router for my laptop and my previous phone had no problems accessing the internet. There is probably something more I have to do (I am assuming) but am getting frustrated and can't figure it out.
I would call them to double check and if you do and it's still not working, call their data tech dept. On another phone other than your BB to troubleshoot.
