Hey guys I cleaned the trackball with alcohol and q-tip. No dice. Have a friend from work's husband who works for AT&T get me another trackball for free. Still no dice. Any more ideas? Trackball won't move in any direction. Any help would be great! Thanks in advance.

if you have insurance you can file an insurance claim and replace the phone. Otherwise by replacing the trackball yourself you just voided your warranty.

This happened to me as well. Took the Pearl back to Verizon and they replaced it with a new Pearl. No questions asked.
The tech said they have had a good number of issues with the Pearl trackball.

Take it back to your carrier for repair or warranty but don't tell them you tried anything. If you already know they won't replace it take it to the closest "store" (not kiosk) you haven't ever been to before and be more insistent. And if you're relaly a DIYer, then https://www.bbrepairshop.com/.
