Is this connected to your MAC or via a mains charger? The BB requires a higher amount of power than standard USB devices, so you have to successfully install the drivers for it to charge from the computer.
how are you charging the phone via home charging or usb ? also have you tried another charger to make sure it is the charger for sure and not the phone? if its the charger provider should switch it for you depending on how old it is.. if its the phone i would suggest purchasing a charging dock, doesnt need to be plugged into the phones usb port to charge it
