ive read this before, just can't find the post. how do u call a number that has letters in it? for example, if u want to check ur mins. u dial #MIN....when i do it it doesn't work....

when i hit the ALT key to put in a number 1800bestbuy for example, it doubles up the letter for instance it would be 1800bbesstbbuy.....why does it double?

Not sure how it work on a Pearl (since that's what it seems you have), but on a Curve, HOLD the ALT while dialing the said characters...

For example from a Curve, you can call 1-866-CINGULAR and it will call them...

This is how it's done for at&t

    Check your minutes

    1. Dial *MIN# (*646#) on your phone.

    2. Press the Send key.

    3. Within seconds, the minutes remaining are delivered via text message to your phone screen. These minutes will be broken down by type.
