Okay so I�m new at BB (8120) only had it for a couple of weeks and I have appointments set in my calendar, how do I make it ring? I went to BB 101 for newbies and could not find any subject related to my issue.

Here's the instructions for you:

1. Go into your ring profile (The Speaker Icon)
2. Scroll to advanced Settings
3. Click on your active profile
4. Click on Calander

From here you will notice a wide variety of options that you can change. Tweak the sounds and vibrations to what ever you want.

Just checked and I don't have a speaker icon??

When your in your applications, press the menu button, and then click "Show All"

Tried that and still no speaker.

look for the Profile application. scroll over your apps until you see one that says profile (active profile setting), ex. profile (loud). Some themes have a different icon than a speaker. I use the verizon theme and i think mine is an equalizer or something, i forget.
