first off, im very new not only to blackberrys but also this site please be kind=]

i recently went from a iphone 3g to a pearl 8100(AT&T)
i bought the phone off eBay and my problem is...

i have a data plan that i bought when i got my iphone but when i insert my sim card into the pearl, the browser icon it doesnt show up. i have tried to call 611 but they were no help

any tips or help would be much appreciated

I have the same problem but i'm on o2 in the uk. I have tried calling o2, i have updated the firmware, i have resent the service books and i have deleted and unerased the blackberry internet file in the service books. I have also tried pulling the battery now i'm about pulling my hair out.
Can some one please help a newbie out. Respond here or blackberry messenger me, my pin is 253A4621.
Edit, solved my own problem, it has an it security policy on it so I wiped it with JL_Cmdr, problem solved. Google is your friend :-)

If I'm not mistaken an iPhone data plan will not work with a BB. Youll need a BB data plan.
