Hey guys

I am trying to fix my friend's blackberry flip. His phone is bricked and is giving him the error 561 .

I've looked it up everywhere on how to fix a bricked blackberry. I know that (please correct me if I am wrong)

1. Download the correct OS/load and install the os
2. Go into common files , RIM , apploader , delete vendor then loader.
3. Remove the blackberry Battery and connect the blackberry , when it says pin unknown i click next.

Now here is where it get annoying.

4. I check everything I need in the OS etc.
5. I let the JVM ( i think it's called , load)
6. I put in the battery and I let it load.

After this , the phone loads and then it shuts off and it gives me an error that it can't load the app loader and I realize that the phone had shutoff , so I put in the battery and I click retry but it still gives me the same error for some reason.

I watched a video where it told me to put the batter right after I click the next button where it says pin unknown but it still gives me the same error.
Any one have a clue what the problem is?

Well, I had a similar problem with my first Flip and it turned out to need replacing. I tried all the prescribed fixes but mine just kept restarting. You might try JL-Cmdr or Crackmem and see if they do the trick - there are tutorials for them.
