    hey;

    I have a pearl 8130 and I just bought a plantronics 520 bluetooth and anyways it connects to my blackberry fine and works good but if i leave it dormant for 5-ten mins my blackberry just disables my bluetooth for no reason and then it wont work so i have to enable it again and it will do the same thing ten mins later. I turned off share address book and still nothing works. can somebody help me.

    Try enabling the LED Connection Indicator and see what happens.

    What OS is on your device? You may need to upgrade it to the latest release.

    ya the led just stops too and how do i dl the new one? i tried before and it wouldnt let me

    I had the same problem with my jawbone. I had to do a battery pull on the phone and a hard reset of the bluetooth. That fixed the problem. Check the plantronics troubleshooting to find how. Hope this helps.

    I have the same thing happening with a 8330 and a JX10 series 2. I did the battery pull and it still gave me problems.

    mine did that twice too. battery pull fixed it. battery pulls fix everything

    This is a known issue on the Pearl... battery pull will usually solve the issue for a short time, but not completely. A large number of people turned away from the Pearl for this reason alone. Do a search and you will find a number of posts about this very issue...

    There doesn't seem to be consistency around which BB device/carrier and BT device pairing is most or least at risk, but it is most certainly a known issue.

    ya i tried the battery pull it did nothing and i dont think i can hard reset this blue tooth well i cant find out how if i can. its a plantronics voyager 520
