New to this forum so apologies if this has come up before.

Bought a GPS unit this morning and can't get it to connect to my 8100 for handsfree. The 8100 can see the GPS, but the GPS can't see the 8100.

When I go in to Bluetooth Options on the 8100, I can see Discoverable = No and there's a little red padlock symbol next to the "No".

Anyone know how to disable the lock?

Welcome to The Crack! I'm going to guess this is a work-provided Pearl, which probably means that your Bluetooth discoverability has been disabled by your BB Admins via IT policy.

But I could be wrong.
