I recently purchased a 4gb memory card for my pearl bc my phone seems to be slowing down a bit bc I have too many ringtones and pictures on it.

I inserted the memory card into my blackberry, but now I want to save my ringtones/pictures to the card instead of my actual phone.

Does anyone know how to transfer them to the card?

    thanks,
    Tena

You will have to use the Media Manager software in Desktop Manager to get the files out of your device's memory and onto the Media card. Once you have all the files out of your device's memory, you can use Mass Storage Mode. Mass Storage Mode allows you to drag and drop files using windows explorer, but it can't see the device's memory, only the media card.

Be sure you copy the files from the device memory into the corresponding folders that the Blackberry created on the Media Card. It expects to find ringtones in its ringtones folder, for example, not in a folder you created called RockRingtones.
