That thing is going to be a nightmare to text on. I'd take the SureType keyboard any day of that.

I think this would hurts RIM's image. If people saw this phone and formed their entire opinion of RIM based on this phone, then it will make RIM look like a low end or cheap company.

I don't know why they didn't just stay with SureType, I don't think the public would want to use a smartphone with a T9 keyboard.

I wouldn't mind the T9, I never liked the SureType on my old Pearl.

It looks like the stryker is going to have multiple keyboards as an option -- this may be RIM's attempt to diversify they product line.

If a phone could be an oxymoron, then it would be the 9105. Such a smart phone with a dumb keyboard.

But all the talk of this version seems to indicate that this is headed to markets where Blackberry has not already penetrated very much.

In other words, we probably won't see it here in North America.

They might as well take off Email all together on this phone. Who would sit and type a long email on a T9 keyboard?

a T9 version of this phone would be a disgrace to the blackberry name. it's suretype or bust for this guy. or should be at least.

wish they'd hurry up and release the CDMA version. my VZW 8130 is struggling.
